For every fundraiser

Accessibility

Fundraisers work with every kind of ability, and this site should too. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and treat gaps as bugs.

What we do

  • Text and interface colors are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios, on light and dark surfaces.
  • Every page works by keyboard: a skip-to-content link, visible focus states, and forms you can complete without a mouse.
  • Charts and figures carry text descriptions, and identity in a chart never rides on color alone.
  • Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced to assistive technology, not just shown in color.
  • Motion respects your reduced-motion system setting.
  • Semantic structure throughout: landmarks, ordered headings, and alt text on images.

Where we are honest about limits

Some content comes from third parties (payment pages run by Stripe, podcast players, embedded documents), and we do not control every detail of how those render. We choose vendors with their own accessibility commitments and pass problems along when we find them.

Found a barrier?

Tell us and we will fix it or find you another way to get the material. Email Patrick@thefundraisingco.com with the page and what happened. If you need any content in an alternative format, ask; we will provide it.
