The methodology
The Invitation Framework™
By Patrick Diener
The donor relationship methodology behind everything we teach. It rests on one conviction: generosity should never feel forced. Your work is not to manufacture a gift, but to build understanding and offer a clear invitation.
The conviction
A genuine gift stays voluntary.
When a gift feels pressured to the donor, it rarely lasts more than that gift. Sadly, the relationship behind it rarely lasts either. This Framework sees the donor as a person with their own reasons for giving, timing of their gift, and their own sense of the good they desire to accomplish.
The shift is in you. Less closing, more listening. You create the space and the reasons for a yes, then let the donor answer freely. A yes given freely is the door to a gift that will keep on giving. You can be that change.
The arc
Seven movements, from your own posture to a culture of generosity.
The arc does not end at the yes. It begins in how you prepare and continues long after the answer, into how a gift is received, kept, and passed on.
Select any movement
The seven movements form one continuous arc. Each movement has its own signature object. Select a movement to read it, either on the arc or in the list below it.
